- The latest cartoons and continued adventures of G.D.Rico.... When the Sacramento Union recently closed its doors, award-winning artist, Greg Rico, started looking for a new outlet to express his creativity. Greg’s classical training in fine arts and illustration-combined with his penetrating political insight and sardonic sense of humor-naturally lent itself to the world of the cartoon. Greg’s extensive travels as the proud son of a Navy Purple-Heart Vet have helped to form his deep-rooted conservative values and sincere love of family. A man who loves a good meal and a great story, classic cars and all-things aviation, his many friends agree that no one loves a joke or a prank more than Greg. And as long as there are Republicans and Democrats in Washington making fools of themselves—Greg Rico will always have an excellent source of material. ReplyDeleteThose parents definitely needed to be strapped to a balloon and carried away. What a fiasco that turned out to be... plus that family is a bunch of flighty "reality" clowns.
You know about reality shows.... they lose touch with REALITY~!!!!!!!!!! Thank you for sharing your toons with me... I have much greater insight to your talents, wit, creativity, and outstanding artistry.

I guess 30 minutes worth of their 15 minutes of fame just wasn't enough. (I heard they were on that wife swap show twice) They have an obvious need to be noticed. I wonder what kind of neurosis that is? We seem to be making ourselves sick in this society, or maybe it just seems like it now that everything is aired on television?

ReplyDeleteIt's a very common neurosis " Medius Whoreus ",also known as " Camerarus Junkieus ".....Just look it up in any medical journal.

You did it aGaiN my dear... spot on with your take on the "Big Hoax".. Since 'we' don't have TV, I didn't even find out about it until way after it was over and spent a lot of time yesterday getting caught up on it. The news media spent WAY too much time on this when there are other more important things going on that desparately need attention, but NOOOOOOOO, they have to distract us, or shall I say the 'lemmings' from the real issues facing us like the looming depression maybe, huh?
