Is that your father? I love it, bro~!!!! Absolutely, love it~!!! Man, we have a connection to Missouri in more ways than 3+, now it's through your beloved father and his service to our country.
I'm more and more proud each day to be able to call you my friend. I'm grateful we found each other in this sea of life... we could have unknowingly passed by each other as two ships in the night... BUT, you saw something and now together we shall sail forward on onward.
Now to all those serving our country.... THANK YOU~!!!
I will humbly and gladly use my freedoms for which you fight and risk your lives. You're putting your lives on the line for our country are not in vain. Please remember.
To those who served our country... Thank you... regardless the war in which you fought. I honor you always in my heart.
To those who gave their lives for my freedom... words cannot explain the heartache I feel for such a great, and honorable sacrifice. My heart breaks for your passing on many levels....
Awwww, great job GD on your tribute to your Dad. I would also, tho belatedly, thank all those veterans who fought for us and the sacrifices you made in the name of freedom. For those who did not make it home alive, you paid the ultimate price, tho not in vain for those of us who appreciate your dedication to our Country. For my dad who passed away last year, I pray your blessed soul rests in peace. Serving in WWII on the aircraft carrier USS Randolph, God bless you for your service to our Country as well. Thanks GD, for giving me the forum to do this.
I'm sorry I just got back to here, I was sort of busy with some of my own Veterans and celebrations. Happy belated V.D. to you and God bless you and your father.
The latest cartoons and continued adventures of
G.D.Rico....
When the Sacramento Union recently closed its doors, award-winning artist, Greg Rico, started looking for a new outlet to express his creativity. Greg’s classical training in fine arts and illustration-combined with his penetrating political insight and sardonic sense of humor-naturally lent itself to the world of the cartoon.
Greg’s extensive travels as the proud son of a Navy Purple-Heart Vet have helped to form his deep-rooted conservative values and sincere love of family. A man who loves a good meal and a great story, classic cars and all-things aviation, his many friends agree that no one loves a joke or a prank more than Greg. And as long as there are Republicans and Democrats in Washington making fools of themselves—Greg Rico will always have an excellent source of material.
Greg currently resides in the greater Sacramento area with his three children.
